Hi friends — I’m Kristie, the owner and maker behind Wander Candle Co! If you’ve found your way here, welcome. I’m so glad you did.

I started Wander Candle Co out of a love for creating, connecting, and sharing moments that feel a little slower and more intentional. What began as a passion for candle-making has turned into a small business rooted in community, one that brings people together across Long Island through hands-on candle workshops, local markets, and our growing line of hand-poured soy candles.

Every candle and event we create is about more than just wax and wicks, it’s about people, experiences, and the little rituals that make everyday life feel special. One of my favorite things about hosting these unique events is watching complete strangers bond over crafting.

Why I Started Wander Candle Co

For me, candles have always been more than just home décor.
They’re a moment to pause. A memory. A feeling.

I wanted to create a brand that celebrates creativity and connection — where people could not only buy beautiful, clean-burning candles, but also learn how to make them, have fun doing it, and leave with something they made themselves.

That’s how Wander Candle Co was born — wandering from place to place, meeting amazing people, and bringing that creative spark to every corner of Long Island.
